Tokyo Woman is the content and issues-driven brainchild of Gwen Isaac, documentary film-maker and academic. In 2019 Gwen visited Japan and observed the ignition of female-empowerment (Feminizumu) within the Japanese women she encountered. She began filming their stories, and will continue to record this rapidly changing time for women in Japan.
